How can I register for training?
Submit a training enquiry via our website, or email our Training Co-ordinator with your contact details and preferred course. One of our team will be in touch to confirm upcoming course availability.
How is the training hosted online?
All our online training courses, as per the schedule on our website, are held remotely via Zoom with one of our accredited trainers.
Can we arrange a private group training session for employees of our organisation?
Yes, Chartis Technology offer tailored, group training sessions both online and in-house. These can be conducted remotely via Zoom or in person at our Bathurst based training facilities, dependent on the number of participants and course content requirements. If you are interested in finding out more information about group training courses, please email our Training Co-Ordinator.
Is it possible to arrange a face-to-face training session?
Yes, Chartis Technology offer face-to-face training courses at our Bathurst, NSW based training facilities as well as on-site* at your business should it be required. Catering for a maximum of 10 attendees, our accredited trainers can conduct our full range of courses, in person to suit your needs. To arrange a face-to-face training session, send an email to our Training Co-ordinator with your preference of course and training date. *Please note for training on-site that requires travel and/or accommodation, these expenses will be billed back to the organisation for which the training is being conducted.
How will I receive information regarding the training course I am booked on?
Online: The week prior to the date of your scheduled training course, you will receive an email confirming the dates and time of your course, how to access the Zoom meeting and all relevant course material and software requirements.
In-house: The week prior to the date of your scheduled training course, you will receive an email confirming the dates and time of your course, address details of the training facility, information regarding the equipment you will be required to bring with you and the software needed to complete the course.
How long does the training take?
The hours vary based on which course you are attending; either 1 or 2 days. Each day starts at 9am and finishes at 5pm, with breaks for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
What equipment do I need to complete the course?
Our courses require you to have access to a computer, as well as a second screen for digital training material (optional, you can download and print training material provided). You will also require access to speakers to be able to listen to the trainer throughout the course. Access to video and microphone is also optional, however it is useful for our trainers to be able to liaise with you during the course. You will be notified by our support team prior to the training date should there be any additional equipment necessary to complete your course.
Should I have my local IT support on hand?
Yes, we advise you test the remote meeting setup well before joining the training. Please ensure your local IT support is on hand in case you need help with IT requirements throughout the course, for example software installs or blocked training resources such as access to Virtual Machines.
Who do I contact if I am having technical issues on the day of the training?
Our support team are available to guide you through any technical issues on the day of your training. Email our technical team who will get in touch with you as soon as possible to assist.
What if I can’t make my training session?
If you are unable to make your training session you should notify us as soon as possible via email. Our Training Co-ordinator can discuss your options for re-booking and assist in organising an alternative training date, subject to availability.
Will I receive any support after my training session?
All training attendees have access to up to 1-hour of complimentary follow up support with their trainer. Your trainer will provide you with details on how to access this following your training course.
How will I receive confirmation that I have completed the course?
Once your training session has been completed, you will receive a certificate of completion via your nominated email address.
